A puzzle a day
A short puzzle at the same time each day is an easy habit to keep: with the morning coffee, after lunch or before the evening news. This page gives you something new every day without searching: a sudoku you can solve on screen, a word search on a different theme, and one of our large print crosswords with friendly clues.
For activity directors and caregivers
- Print the pack each morning: four pages, large print, one puzzle per page.
- Everyone gets the same puzzles that day, so residents, family members and volunteers can talk about the same puzzle.
- The answers are on the last page. Keep them with you or give them to a helper.
- Need more copies or a harder level? Open the sudoku of the day to print all three levels, or any large print word search.
How it works
New puzzles appear around midnight US Eastern time. The word search rotates through our 32 themes and the crossword through our 10 large print crosswords, while the sudoku is brand new each day. Everything is free, with no sign-up. Your streak, if you keep one, is stored only in your own browser.
Questions
Is the daily puzzle pack free?
Yes. Print it every day for home, classroom or group use, as many copies as you need. No sign-up.
What time do the puzzles change?
Around midnight US Eastern time (05:00 UTC), at the same moment for everyone.
Can I print yesterday’s puzzles?
The sudoku of the day keeps the past 30 days: use Previous day on its page. Word searches and crosswords stay on the site, so you can always find them in their sections.
Is the pack printed in large print?
Yes. The word search uses our large print 11 × 11 grid with words that never run backwards, and each sudoku fills a whole page with squares about 0.8 inches wide.
