How activity directors use it
- Print once for the week. Print the group copy for each person and the full pack, with the answers at the back, once for yourself. Both have the same page numbers, so “turn to page 3” works for everyone.
- One activity a day, about 20 to 30 minutes. The word search and crossword use big letters and everyday words; the trivia has three choices for every question.
- Sort by day. The bottom of every sheet says which day it is for and its page number, so the copies are easy to sort into five piles.
- Talk while you work. The cover lists four conversation starters that go with the week’s themes, so the puzzle becomes a chance to share memories.
- End the week with color. Friday’s coloring page has thick lines and big spaces, good for markers and for anyone with a less steady hand.
For families and caregivers
A pack is also a simple way to give a parent or grandparent something to look forward to each day for a week: print the group copy, leave it by the favorite chair with a pencil, and check the answers together on the phone or at the next visit. For a daily puzzle instead, see today’s puzzles.
Questions
Is the weekly activity pack free?
Yes. Every pack is free to print for home, senior centers, care homes, libraries and church groups, as many copies as you need. No sign-up.
How large is the print?
Everything is large print: the word searches use big, bold letters on an 11 by 11 grid, the crossword clues are on their own page in 18 point type, and the trivia questions are printed five to a page.
Where are the answers?
At the back of the full pack, starting on the page shown on its cover. The group copy has the same pages without the answers, so you can print it for everyone.
Does the pack change?
Yes. There are 6 weekly packs and 3 holiday packs. A new one is featured every Saturday, ready for the week ahead, and you can print any of them at any time from the lists above.
