Flower color ideas
- Garden fresh: pink and coral petals, buttery yellow centers and two or three greens for the leaves.
- Soft pastels: lavender, blush, mint and pale blue, lovely on the hydrangeas and the wreath.
- Sunflower gold: golden yellow and orange petals with a deep brown center.
- Shading in one color: color the outer edge of each petal darker and the middle lighter, so the flowers look rounded.
A flower activity for groups and seniors
Flowers are a favorite in senior centers, care homes and garden clubs: everyone has a flower they remember from home. Print the easy pages with thick lines for relaxed coloring, and the detailed ones for people who like fine pens. Finished pages make a bright display on a bulletin board or a homemade card.
