Snowman color ideas
- Keep the snow white: leave the snowman paper-white and color everything around him, then shade the lower edge of each snowball with light blue or gray so he looks round.
- A bright scarf: the striped scarves are made for two or three alternating colors, such as red and white, or green and gold.
- Night snowman: color the sky deep blue or purple and leave the falling snowflakes white for a winter evening.
- The carrot nose: orange with a few short brown lines across it looks like a real carrot.
A snowy day activity
Snowman pages fit the whole season, from the first snowfall in December to the last cold week of February, and they have no holiday words or symbols except a few presents and lights, so they suit public classrooms too. Hand out the easy pages to young children and to seniors who prefer bigger spaces, and the detailed scenes to older kids and adults. Questions
Are these snowman coloring pages free?
Yes. All 12 pages and the full PDF pack are free to print or color online, with no sign-up.
Which snowman pages are easiest?
The seven easy pages: the snowman by the fence, the waving snowman, the two snowman friends, the snowman with a little bird, the one with a lantern, the one in the snowflakes and the one with hot cocoa.
Why are some pages turned sideways in the PDF?
The wide pictures are printed across the long side of the paper so they come out as big as possible. Turn the sheet sideways to color.
