For teachers
A monthly word search is an easy routine for morning work or the first minutes after recess. Use Easy for grades 2–3, Medium for grades 4–6 and Hard for middle school, and print the new month on the first school day. The words make a natural start for a calendar talk: who has a birthday this month, what is the birthstone, which holiday is coming up.
For activity directors and families
Many senior centers and care homes plan the activity calendar month by month. The large print edition of each month fits right in: put it in the monthly newsletter, use it at the birthday party for everyone born that month, or bring it to a weekly puzzle club. The questions to talk about on each large print page help turn a quiet puzzle into a conversation about memories and traditions. For something new every day, see today’s puzzles.

Questions
Are the monthly word searches free?
Yes. Every month is free to download and print for home, classroom, church and activity use. No sign-up.
Which level should I choose?
Easy has ten words across and down on a 10 × 10 grid. Medium adds diagonals on a 13 × 13 grid. Hard hides all twenty words in every direction, including backwards. The large print edition is the easiest to read.
Can I get a different grid for the same month?
Yes. On each month’s page, press “Shuffle grid” to make a new arrangement of the same words, then print it. Answer keys print with every grid.
Do you have puzzles for holidays too?
Yes. Besides the months there are holiday puzzles for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter: word searches, crosswords or bingo cards, depending on the holiday.
