About this puzzle

A shepherd boy, a sling and five smooth stones from the brook. This David and Goliath word search retells 1 Samuel 17 in twenty words, from the valley of Elah to the giant’s helmet and spear. A favorite for Sunday school lessons about courage.

Easy (10×10) places words across and down only. Medium (13×13) adds diagonals. Hard (15×15) runs words in all eight directions, and its filler letters are borrowed from the word list to create false starts.
