Ideas for your St. Patrick’s Day bingo game

In class, gold-wrapped chocolate coins or green cereal pieces make lucky markers. Hide a paper rainbow somewhere in the room before the game; whoever wins the first round gets to go look for the pot of gold at the end of it.

At a senior center, St. Patrick’s Day bingo pairs well with Irish music and a cup of tea. Many residents enjoy sharing family stories about Ireland or the old neighborhood parade between rounds, so leave time for talking.

Questions

What can we use as lucky prizes?

Chocolate coins, shamrock stickers, green pencils or a small potted clover all make good prizes for one line or a full card.

Do the cards include St. Patrick himself?

The words focus on the fun of the day: shamrocks, leprechauns, music, food and Ireland. Use “Edit the words” if you want to add Saint Patrick or anything else.

Are all the cards different?

Yes. Each card uses a different mix of words in a different order, so no two cards match.
