How to play fall bingo
- Print one card per player. Every card in the set is different.
- Call the words in random order, such as “Pumpkin” or “Rake”. The caller screen on this page shows each word in big letters and remembers what was called; the PDF also has a caller’s list to cut up.
- Players cover each word on their card. The center square is free.
- Five in a row across, down or diagonally wins. Check the card against the called words.
About these cards
Crunchy leaves, apple cider and sweater weather. A fall bingo game that works all season, from back-to-school through Thanksgiving week.
The PDF has 30 different cards, two per page, plus a caller’s list; the large print PDF has one big card per page. Cards are free for home, classroom and group use.
Ideas for your fall bingo game
Fall bingo works from the first week of September right up to Thanksgiving, which makes it a useful rainy-day activity for classrooms and after-school programs. Acorns, small pinecones or dried corn kernels make fun seasonal markers.
For a nature twist, take the cards outside: instead of calling words, players mark a square when they spot the real thing, such as a squirrel, a maple tree or a pinecone, on a walk around the schoolyard or park.
