About this crossword
A Christmas crossword where every clue is a line from a well-loved carol: fill in the missing word from “Silent Night”, “Jingle Bells”, “Deck the Halls” and more. Sing it out if you get stuck. All the carols are well over a hundred years old.
The puzzle has 15 clues on a 12×13 grid. The PDF prints the puzzle and clues on page one and the filled-in answer key on page two. For younger solvers, the “Easier PDF” adds a word bank so kids can match each answer to its clue.
Did you know?
- “Silent Night” was first sung on Christmas Eve 1818 in Oberndorf, Austria, with a guitar accompaniment.
